3. Roll: Jiu-Jitsu in SoCal (2012)
“Roll” explores Southern California’s vibrant Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu scene, featuring interviews and training footage with prominent BJJ practitioners. It provides insights into the culture and growth of BJJ in the United States.
4. The Smashing Machine (2002)
This documentary focuses on Mark Kerr, a former NCAA wrestling champion and mixed martial artist. It delves into his struggles with addiction, injuries, and the pressures of competing in MMA, with a backdrop of BJJ training and competition.
